Breast augmentation surgery: what happens during the pre-surgery consultation?
In general, we will see you at least twice before the operation, although this is not mandatory. The second consultation can be done at the clinic in your room before the operation.
During the first visit, as part of the preparation of your medical file, you will answer a detailed questionnaire. Information regarding health problems experienced by you and your family, the type of medication used and any allergies are noted in detail. An examination will be performed including a morphological examination of the breasts, measurement of their size, examination of the mammary glands, thoracic muscles and skin (thin or thick).

Breast augmentation in Paris: advice and precautions before the operation
A pre-anesthetic consultation is necessary between 28 and 2 days before the procedure. The anesthesiologist will screen for possible risk situations and may ask you for additional tests.
Pour une augmentation mammaire, l’arrêt du tabac est demandé au moins durant les 10 jours précédant l’opération et les 3 semaines qui suivent. Durant les 10 jours qui précèdent l’intervention, il est déconseillé de prendre tous médicaments qui contiennent de l’acide acétylsalicylique ou Aspirine. Nous préférons que vous arrêtiez la prise de pilule dans le mois qui entoure l’intervention pour limiter le risque de phlébite.
Il est préférable de s’épiler les aisselles à la cire 7 jours avant l’intervention quelle que soit la localisation des cicatrices.
Avant d’aller à la clinique, préparez votre sac. N’oubliez pas d’y mettre les pansements et soutien-gorge de sport prescrits, votre nécessaire pour toilettes et une serviette. Pour ne pas toucher la poitrine, prenez uniquement des vêtements qui s’ouvrent par l’avant (chemise par exemple).
