How to choose the right size of breast prosthesis?

Choosing the right breast form size

Patients are often very worried about making the wrong choice of prosthesis size when undergoing breast augmentation with implants.
3D simulation software is available, but it doesn't make it possible to clearly see the differences between different volumes.
We prefer to carry out a fitting session with external prostheses placed in a support bra under a tight-fitting T-shirt. This gives you an idea of your future silhouette. You can also bring a friend or partner along to advise you, in addition to the surgeon.

This choice also needs to be adapted to the patient's size and width, in order to achieve a harmonious result. The breast implant laboratories we work with (Polytech Health and Mentor) offer an extremely wide range of implants, enabling us to choose a made-to-measure implant.

Today, most of the prostheses we fit have a volume of between 260 and 350 cc to achieve an augmentation of 1 to 2 cups.

To put it simply, you'll need around 200 cc for the first cup, and then 100 to 150 cc for each additional cup. So a woman with a 90 A cup would need a 330 cc breast implant to obtain a 90 C cup.
