For the past 1 year, Polytech Health laboratories have been offering a new type of anatomical double-gel breast implant covered with polyurethane foam.

This 4-two® implant is not intended for breast augmentation, but rather for the treatment of incipient sagging breasts (moderate breast ptosis) without visible scarring. The maximum projection of this anatomical implant is 25% of its height (compared with 35% for conventional anatomical implants). This enables the areola to be lifted into the correct position, and ptosis to be corrected.

This effect is reinforced by the presence of a firmer gel behind the areola. On the other hand, a softer gel is located close to the chest, enabling the prosthesis to adapt perfectly to the patient's contours.

The physical characteristics of the silicone gels used (medical gels supplied by Applied Silicone Laboratories) are also innovative. An improved shape memory allows the implant to be deformed when inserted through a small incision in the areola, without damaging its structure or risking fracture of the gel.

The fact that these breast implants are covered in polyurethane foam prevents any risk of rotation and reduces the shell rate to less than 1%.

The disadvantages of this implant are a slightly firmer feel than conventional implants (although this effect disappears in the 6 months following surgery) and a price 2 times higher.

We now systematically offer this implant to women wishing to correct early ptosis (up to 2 fingers covered under the sub-breast fold), without vertical or T-shaped breast scars.

The total cost of such an intervention varies between €4,500 and €5,000.
